BEACH
Life
La Croix-Valmer has a coastline of 12 kilometers and offers a variety of beaches.
The main beach is Plage du Débarquement. The historical beach is by far the widest beach and offers a wonderful view of Cavalaire Bay. It is located about 2km from the villa. We like to park near Dauphin Plage or at the parking Pardigon Plage. The beach is supervised by lifeguards all summer (+33 (0)4 9479 6603) and you can find activities, water sports, shops and restaurants (near the pier). There are Boat Ferries to the islands of Iles d'Or from the pier.

Just around the tip of Cavalaire lies the small and cozy Plage sauvage du Bonporteau. Come early because of limited parking.

Plage de Gigaro is a less tourisic, somewhat more sophisticated and rough beach. It is also the last established beach before the National Park "Conservatoire du littoral". Water sports is available too and you can find our favorite restaurants Marius a la Plage and the more pricey Couleurs Jardin on top. Plage de Gigaro is located around 4km from the villa and offers parking along the beach and in the backland behind Spar supermarket.

We can also recommend the smaller, typically less crowded beaches Plage de Héraclée, Plage de Brouis, Plage de Sylvabelle and Plage de la Briande.

Further away (about 20 minutes drive from the villa), you will find the famous Plage de Pampelonne, a 4.5km long beach close to Saint-Tropez. It is famous for Brigitte Bardot and Le Club 55. Each summer the most luxurious motor yachts approach the beach and make up for a somewhat crazy scenery. The beach will be redone in 2019 with the goal to be "renaturalized" , which means more sand and nature.
